Gertrud D Galleries opened its doors
five years ago on the Spiegelstraat in Amsterdam’s gallery district. After a successful run of four and one half
years at that location we moved around
the corner onto the Keizersgracht
into a magnificent ‘pakhuis’, or classic warehouse, to better display the work
of Gertrud D. The space is grand
in scale, yet intimate, making the
experience of viewing Gertrud D’s
art much like the art itself: passionate,
vibrant and ultimately calming.
